PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

LETS MAKE SOMETHING GREAT TOGETHER

At HBI, we love letting the creative juices flow. In fact, we’ve padded our team with creative and design professionals to do just that. Our product development services team is eager to roll up their sleeves and start designing and developing your product(s). Whether you already have a design, are in need of a prototype, or have nothing more than an idea. We’ll sit down with you first in an effort to gain an understanding of what you’re trying to make (and why), as well as where you currently fall within the product development stages. From there, we’ll start working to bring your product to life. Whether that’s initial research and product development, concepting, designs/drawings, or a working prototype/sample.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The first step involves meeting with our product development manager and design team to determine project parameters. We’ll discuss goals, expectations, deadlines, etc. If you have examples, samples, or designs, now is the time to share. We spend ample time getting to know your product, business, and industry. We’ll explore the competition, industry trends, and any specific design requirements that need to be considered. Based on everything gathered, we’ll start working on some designs (if you already have your own initial designs, great!). We’ll engage with you along the way to ensure we are headed in the right direction. With an approved design, prototypes are developed. Expect a few rounds of samples as we work towards making sure all expectations and requirements are met. Once the prototype is approved, a tech-pack and bill of materials (BOM) will be provided.

In additional— As part of any new leather goods product development, we are now offering a free design consultation with award winning, luxury bag maker, Jennifer Smail. Learn more HERE. NOTE: It will be at HBI’s discretion whether or not your project qualifies.

**We are capable of working with most project/productivity tools, like Slack, Monday, Asana, Basecamp, etc.
